Indoor Air Quality Training

Date: September Thursday 10, 2020
Start Time: 03:00:00PM
End Time: 05:00:00PM

Indoor air quality is one of the most common concerns in indoor working environments. Yet there remains confusion over what it is, why and how we should pay attention to it, and how we can convince our employers that we're not making up symptoms to get out of doing work. In this workshop, we'll discuss how we can approach management about existing and potential indoor pollutants that impact air quality in and around our workplaces, and how air quality affects our health and comfort.

In this workshop, we'll cover:
Indoor environment basics
Construction/renovation-related hazards
Asbestos and mold
Legionnaires' disease
Indoor air quality testing
Rolle of OSHA/PESH
