The roles and responsibilities in these industries are unique and highly specialized. Local 338 works closely with our members to guarantee that strong workplace safety protocols are in place and are adhered to by the organizations’ management, as well as ensure that our members receive all of the appropriate trainings they need in order to do their jobs safely and effectively. Additionally, because some of these organizations rely on public money to maintain their programs, we partner with local elected officials to advocate for increased funding to support our members and the work they do.
