The COVID-19 pandemic has created a great deal of stress, which is a burden on our mental wellbeing. There are several approaches that can be made to combat stress and its effect on mental health. 

Trainers will discuss:

• Understanding mental health
• The impact of stress on mental health, both routinely and during COVID-19
• Recognizing the signs and symptoms of stress
• Accessing services to reduce stress and promote mental health
• Barriers to mental health services and support
• Impacts of racism and social injustice on COVID-19, stress and mental health
• Bargaining & advocating for mental health with employers
