Leukemia & Lymphoma Society

Date: Tuesday January 21, 2020

It takes more than one person to make up a team—that’s why Local 338 is asking you to donate to our Team In Training fundraising page for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society!

Your donation will help fund treatments that save lives every day. You may not know it, but every single donation helps fund research that will save lives with breakthrough therapies and brings us one step closer to a world without blood cancers.

Any amount is helpful, so please consider donating to Local 338’s fundraising page for LLS!

As part of our union family, Local 338 wants to provide as many benefits as possible for our membership. That’s why we’re proud to be working with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and fundraising through their Team In Training initiative. Our very own Member Assistance Program Director, Jen Lipack, will be running a half marathon in March in support of their organization!

LLS has invested billions into blood cancer research around the world, and their dedication towards finding a cure has saved thousands of lives and lead to breakthroughs in treatments. The know how hard it is to go through the treatment and healing process, and they’re here to provide guidance, hope, and support. While we have met our original fundraising goal of $1,300, we want to fundraise as much as possible for this incredible organization!
