Each year Local 338 participates in events and donation drives to support organizations that serve the communities that we live and work in. We participate in the Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive every spring and, in the summer, we hold a school supplies drive that supports the work of the United Way of Long Island and John Theissen Children's Foundation. As the holidays approach, we deliver turkeys to local food pantries so those in need can have a hot meal and collect coats to help keep local families in need warm. Local 338 takes pride in the communities we represent, so we try to give back several times throughout the year.
